Aseya Lukina — EMDR trained psychologist

Your body knows
before your mind does.

A structured arc of 4 to 10 sessions to find the actual root of what's keeping you stuck — and resolve it at the level of the nervous system, not the level of analysis.

01 — The pattern

Founder looking out at a city skyline from a corner office at night

From the outside, everything is working — the income, the influence, the reputation.

Inside: a relentless voice saying it's not enough, and an exhaustion you can't quite explain.

You already understand why — you can analyze it perfectly. But explanation does not equal transformation. If your nervous system is stuck in survival, no amount of intelligence will change how you feel. The work has to happen in the body.

02 — Who this is for

This is for you, if.

A mind that never switches off

Which is exactly why we don't start with your mind. We start with the system underneath it.

You've tried the obvious

And you're still here. That's not a failure of effort — it means the root was never located.

Between chapters

An exit, a divorce, a relocation, a loss — and you want to build what's next from a grounded place, not from momentum and fear.

Not for you if

You're in an acute mental health crisis — active suicidal thoughts, severe depression, an untreated psychiatric condition. You deserve immediate local clinical care, and I'll gladly help you find it.

03 — The Method

The Somatic Founder Method.

A four-phase framework combining somatic work, parts work, and EMDR-informed approaches — built for founders and high achievers in transition.

01

Intention

We clarify what you're actually here for — which is rarely what you first say. This becomes the compass.

02

The Body Knows

Instead of analyzing the problem — which you've done for years — we go through the body. Tension patterns and sensations become the map to the actual root, not the story about it.

03

Meeting What Was Left Behind

We work with what's found, using parts work and EMDR-informed approaches. The parts carrying shame, pain, and anger — exiled on the way up — are finally met instead of managed.

04

Integration & True Direction

What was met is integrated. From this more complete place, your real values become visible — often for the first time without performance attached — and purpose gets defined from them.

04 — How we know it's working

Progress tracked, not assumed.

Before we begin, you complete a clinical assessment measuring burnout, stress, and wellbeing. We measure again every four sessions — so progress is visible, not assumed.

05 — Ways to work with me

One container.

One-to-one

The Somatic Founder Arc

4 to 10 individual sessions combining EMDR-informed and somatic work, built around your specific transition. Begins with a single session; ongoing arcs are by invitation — I only take this on when I'm confident it's the right fit.

07 — About

Portrait of Aseya Lukina

I wasn't always a therapist.

I started in visual design and became a co-founder. I know the intoxicating rush of building something from nothing — and I know its exact cost. Despite the wealth I was generating, I burned out entirely and lost my sense of purpose.

My own deep therapy reoriented my life. Years of retraining followed — traditional therapeutic work combined with somatic modalities and systemic approaches — into the framework I use today.

I don't just teach regulation; I live it. Whatever you're building next must be born from a regulated, purposeful place. Not from lack, and not from survival.

08 — How the risk sits on my side

You should feel safe saying yes — and equally safe saying no.

  • The first conversation is free.
  • Ongoing work is by mutual invitation — I don't take on clients I'm not confident I can help.
  • Progress is measured every four sessions — if it's not moving, we address it, or I refer you to someone better suited.
  • You're free to stop at any point.

09 — Credentials

  • Psychologist
  • Certified Mindfulness Trainer
  • Somatic Practitioner
  • 6+ years of clinical experience
  • Clients in 7 countries
  • Progress tracked with validated assessments

10 — Questions

What people ask before starting.

A four-phase framework combining somatic work, parts work, and EMDR-informed approaches for founders and high achievers in major transitions — described in full above.

Psychological work — deeper than coaching, more body-based than talk therapy. No advice, no accountability structures; we find the root somatically, not just intellectually.

Everything happens over video, and somatic work translates fully. All you need is a quiet space. I work with clients across the US, Europe, and Australia.

No preparation, no judgment. Come as you are. If you need my presence more than my words, silence is welcome too.

Nobody. Confidentiality is complete, with three exceptions: risk of harm to yourself or others, abuse, or a court order. I work outside insurance networks — your information is never shared.

Usually 4 to 10 sessions, depending on where you start. We check your assessment numbers together every 4 sessions.

Yes, at any point — and I'll do my best to point you toward someone who serves you better.

No. Wanting to feel better is reason enough.

11 — The invitation

The next chapter doesn't need a strategy yet. It needs a nervous system that can live in it.

If something in you kept saying this is me — that's the signal worth listening to.
