This page is maintained by Aseya Lukina to describe the terms of engagement for her private psychology practice. It is not a certification or third-party attestation.
1. Nature of the work
Sessions are psychological work delivered by an EMDR-trained psychologist. They are not medical treatment, crisis care, or a substitute for emergency services. If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
2. Booking and payment
A session is confirmed once booking is agreed in writing and payment is received. Prices, currency, and payment methods are shared during the intake conversation.
3. Cancellations & rescheduling
Sessions rescheduled or cancelled with at least 48 hours' notice are moved without charge. Later changes or no-shows may be charged in full.
4. Confidentiality
Confidentiality is complete, with three legally required exceptions: risk of serious harm to yourself or others, disclosure of abuse of a minor or vulnerable adult, and a valid court order. Aseya works outside insurance networks; your information is not shared with insurers.
5. Ending the work
You may end the work at any point. Where useful, Aseya will do her best to signpost other practitioners who may serve you better.
6. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. The current version is always the one published on this page.
